As I was praying yesterday, I heard the Holy Spirit say:
“Many people will miss Jesus because they are looking for Him In wrong places.”
Pls if this word applies to you spend time to pray about your places of worship and let the Lord lead you and give you direction .
Spend time to pray about where your concentration is in life.
You see many times, we think we are in the right congregation but Jesus is not there. They may have the appearance but no they are not the right places.
Some places of worship are dead but looks like they are alive:
Hear this : Rev.3:1
“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
May we find Jesus , May we be where He is present.
Remember!! People went to the the tomb to look for Him and He was no longer there, He was risen from the dead.
Are you seeking Him in a place where they still seeking Him in the tomb?
Are you worshipping where they are still Christ where He is not?
Are you looking for Him in materialism?
Are you looking for Him in culture?
Are you looking for Him in science?
Are you looking for Him in modernism?
Remember!! Wise men sought Jesus, they left all they had, they travelled far and brought gifts to Him because they had been told of our Saviour.
What is too much for you to give up to seek Him!!
Don’t look for Jesus amongst the dead. He is risen and not dead.
May the Lord give us all direction in Jesus name.
Matt 28 : 5Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. 7And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.”
