A revelation: I saw a man giving a great testimony of what God did in his life and he actually mentioned specific names ( two ladies) of those the Lord used to birth the testimony . As he was calling out their names , and also looking for them in the crowd to bring them out, he couldn’t see them, they could see him from the crowd. Infact, these ladies made eye to eye contact with him but he still didn’t see them until after the service ended. Then the man came to meet the two ladies and they were like “ we saw but, but you just didn’t see us.”
Now I believe that our time of recognition has come. Our time of reward has also come but the problem is some of us are suppose to stand out from the crowd because staying in the crowd will cover you from being seen. / and God telling us to be separate, Stand our from the crowd.
God is saying” you have laboured for so long and your season of reward has come but I can’t find you.
” I want to bless you and I can’t find you because you are crowded with people that you are not suppose to be with.
He is saying you have laboured for too long and your season of reward is here but we are leveling with the crowd when God expects us to separate ourselves from the crowd.
The crowd has no where they are going but I chose you to take you to a bigger place but you are comfortable and satisfied in the old position, in the wrong place, in wrong associations, in wrong relationships, in wrong friendships.
The Lord is saying:
“ I have seen your labor, I have seen your toil, I have taken note of your work and I am now come to announce you, to showcase you, to honor you but you are mingling with the wrong people. You are sitting in the wrong spot.”
He is saying I am looking for you to bless you but hey, you are no longer available. You are either not in the spot you are meant to be.
God is saying:
I have seen your work.
I have seen your tool
I have seen your labour
And I am about to reward you but it seems like you are hidden. In a place where you can’t be located.
The Lord is calling us to stand out, be different, be separate, set apart but we are just comfortable with where we are.
The Lord is saying:
I have not called you to
mingle with the crowd but to stand out from
the crowd.
Now there are many reasons people can be lost in the crowd: wrong places, wrong relationships, wrong decisions, wrong choices, refusal to step out of our comfort zones , no longer available or open and so many others.
Matt 5:14 You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
Matt 5:15?Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
He has called us to lengthen our chords, expand our territories because if we are comfortable with staying hidden, then we are not in our full capacity.
I am excited because Inhave told the Lord particularly that I refuse to be hidden. I am a city set upon the hill and I am called to give light to nations.
I refuse to work below capacity and I refuse to be crowed when I am suppose to stand out and be separate.
Lord, it is as far as my eyes can see.
You see when you are hidden, you are not functioning in your highest capacity or capability.
Your talents and potentials will not be maximized when you are hidden .
You are actually short changing yourself when your potentials and gifts are hidden.
God is saying that there is more to your life than where you are.
Infact in the crowd, you lose yourself, you lose who you truly are. In the crowd, you are trying to please everyone, in the crowd, you actually lose your identity.
In the crowd, there are too many voices and vices, and you can’t even hear well.
One thing is sure, 2020 is our year of announcement and that is what the Lord is saying.
We will move from our hiding places because we are a city set upon the hill that cannot be hidden. It is time for a repositioning. Take a bold step today, be courageous today, dare to be different today, dare to stand out today, dare to be separate today, dare to take bold steps today.
Lord, I am thankful because my season is here, help me to take the right decisions so you can announce me and take me to the next level. NO LONGER WILL I BE HIDDEN BECAUSE I AM A CITY SET UPON THE HILL.
It is time for a REPOSITIONING!!
It is time for a SHIFT!!
